London Diaries: 3 Must Try Cafe's!

"And now I love high tea, stories from uni, and the West End. You can find me in the pub, we are watching rugby with his school friends..."

Taylor (as always) got it right, I love everything about London! From the accents, to the tea, to the posh way of doing almost anything. YES! London stole my heart many years ago and every time I go back I fall in love all over again.

They're are so many cool things to do in London and despite what some may say they're actually a lot of delicious restaurants to choose from. If you have been reading my blog for a while then you know I love good food but I also want to be economical about it. So here is a list of some cool cafes I found on my recent trip that were trendy, delicious, and also affordable.

1. Kiss the Koala

This cafe is dripping pink and every wall it is filled with the cutest decor. This is a tiny cafe but it is truly decorated to perfection. The decor is not the only reason why Kiss The Koala is on my list, the service was impeccable, and most importantly the food was "OFF THE CHAIN!"

First and foremost the drinks were both gorgeous and delicious. They have many options to choose from and of course they have plant based milk. I personally ordered the beet root latte and it was fantastic.

Next comes the food. This is a brunch style cafe so they have both breakfast and lunch items. They also have vegan options with most of their popular dishes having a vegan version.

I ordered the Korean Chicken and Waffles. This was a wonderful take on a southern dish I am quite familiar with. The chicken was moist and flavorful with a kick of spice. The waffle was fluffy and delicious and of course I loved how it was garnished with beautiful flowers.

My friends both ordered the French Toast and of course I had to try it. Again, the dish looked amazing but it wasn't all about the aesthetics it also tasted amazing! I love how big both of the dishes were, so worth the money (I couldn't even finish mine) if you are traveling with a partner you could even share a plate and you would both be full.

 2. Bridget's Bakery Bus

This Cafe is an unusual one, because its on wheels but it is well worth it!
My first tip about eating here is to come hungry, like really hungry!

To get a high tea experience in London is quite pricey so comparably this is a great deal plus its a sight seeing tour as well. Such a bang for your buck!

The food and snacks are so great. The pasties were creative and the sandwiches come in three different types. They also have a separate menu for someone who has a gluten allergy.

They take you all around the city to all the best sightseeing spots. The table is built in with cup holders so you don't have to worry about spilling. They also refill your cup constantly with tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in take home cups.

Oh, did I mention they also give you champs! Yeah, there is nothing like trotting around London with a delicious glass of champagne in hand.

3. Violas

Violas' is a beautiful restaurant that you need a reservation to get in. Why?! Because this cafe sells the world's most gorgeous lattes. Seriously, if you can only have one latte the whole time you are in London this is the place to get it from.

I ordered the Pink Latte which is made with pink pitayas, edible flowers, and glitter. I mean a drink with glitter, you know I am in love!

The Pink Latte is one of the many gorgeous lattes they sell. They also have a Blue Matcha which is also made with flowers and glitter and even a Pistachio Ice Cream Latte.

The food was good I got the French Toast that tasted like a chocolate covered cherry, there was chocolate sauce and cherries to pour on top of the toast.
